How does TeachSnap work?
Snap a photo of your child's worksheet. We read it with AI and write you a 5-minute teaching script — what to say, what to watch out for, and how to know they got it. The final answer stays hidden behind a tap so you can teach the steps first.
What's free vs Pro?
Free includes 1 worksheet scan and 1 answer reveal so you can try the app. Pro unlocks unlimited scans, the full teaching script, practice questions, flashcards, printable worksheets, child profiles, and co-parent / teacher sharing.
How much does Pro cost?
Pro is offered as a 7-day free trial then $49.99 / year, or $4.99 / week with no trial. Local pricing varies. The exact price you'll be charged is shown on the purchase screen before you subscribe.
How do I cancel?
On iPhone: open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → TeachSnap → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep Pro until then. Trial cancellations made before the 7-day window ends are not charged.
How do I get a refund?
Apple processes all subscription refunds for iOS purchases. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and request a refund for TeachSnap. We can't process refunds on Apple's behalf, but we're happy to help you with the request — email [email protected].
I bought Pro on another device — how do I restore it?
Open the app's Subscribe screen and tap Restore purchases. If you created an email account, signing in on the new device also restores Pro.
What languages do you support?
English and Spanish are fully translated. Chinese, Vietnamese, Tagalog, and Arabic cover the main flows; the rest falls back to English. You can change language in Settings → Language.
How do I delete my data?
Settings → Data & Privacy → Delete all my TeachSnap data wipes every scan, script, flashcard, and weak spot for this device. You can also email [email protected] and we'll do it for you within 30 days.
Is my child's worksheet used to train AI?
No. Worksheet photos are sent to OpenAI strictly to generate your teaching script. We do not use them to train models, and OpenAI does not retain them for training either under our API agreement.
The teaching script said something wrong — what now?
Tap the Report a problem button on the script. We review every report. AI gets things wrong sometimes; please double-check before teaching.
